Cycling

Shivansh n Sudhansh are busy cycling in the evenings everyday. 

Shivansh got a new cycle on his bday. Sudhansh was earlier not willing to let go of the trainer wheels on his cycle. But when he saw Shivansh's new cycle, he too wanted a new one. so he allowed the trainer wheels to be removed. n in an hours time he was holding his balance on the smaller cycle. n by the next day was riding around the complex. we let him continue for a month. & now with his new cycle he is like a free bird wheeling away behind Shivansh. n they play chor police n pakda pakdi on their cycles. (gives me time to take my walks in the evening).

Just spoke to Punam vahini n Baba. Baba is recuperating n also working on some office papers. He would surely get bored just resting. Anish is busy with his studies as also Anu. Board exams r just around the corner. I still have some years of "rest" before my tensions start.

Chitra tai, no blog from you in a long time. Nilesh is r8 now in Delhi enjoying the "delhi ki sardi".

Baba at Varca Beach

Gir Forest experiences

we had an excellent trip to Gir Forest last month. The kids enjoyed the entire experience cause Ajjo was with us. We saw 6 lions. 2 young male lions lazing around (we named them shivansh n sudhansh lion), n later a pride of 2 lionnesses with their cubs eating off a fresh kill of a spotted deer. there were lots of deers, peacocks, peahens to be seen. just around the end of the safari, the guide pointed at some foxes. we were wonderin why he was showin us 2 logs, when the foxes got up disturbed by our sounds. it was a wonderful wonderful journey. there were not too many souveniers to collect. the club mahindra resort was fun. kids played a lot. shivansh has started cycling with a vigour after cycling around the resort. myself n shivansh went on a nature walk with the resort guide n we saw herds of deer n lots of peacocks. shivansh went around clickin lots of pics. in all a lovely experience.
Lionness tired after a kill. It was so close that Sudhansh got a bit wary.

This was at a cooking competition conducted in our society by Club Mahindra, where Chef Shivansh made Soya Sabudana Supreme, helped by Sangeeta n Sudhansh.

Kids r busy playin Ra-One and G-One. they have created their own outfits with gloves, knee pads, and balls to throw like ra-one etc.

Shivansh keeps inventing new games. there is one good game called "Thakur Thakur" conceived after watching Sanjeev Kumar in Sholay. both keep their hands behin & kick each other. the bedroom becomes a mess.

Vasai Visit

Had a wonderful weekend at vasai. because of the multiple flyovers the journey was smooth.

The house is lookin fabulous. a very fresh look. will post some pics.

It was a sunday fish feast we had. Baba had a pile of fish bones (karli fish).

The kids had a wonderful time. Shivansh finished his studies in time so that he cud have time with his anish dada.

We went out to Phoenix Market City Mall with Preeti yday. Had a great time.

Thanx Chitra for your Bumble bee transformer. Shivansh assembled it as soon as he reached the Pune home. Took him around 2 hrs, but he did it without a break. (when studying he takes a 15 minute break after every 30 mins) and yday was spent doin Sudhansh's colors.

Hi all,

Nilesh is gettin operated on Friday 9th dec for the gall bladder removal. so the kids get another holiday frm tomorrow post school to freak out at their aaji's house.

next week is shivansh's 10th bday. we r celebratin at mcdonalds this year. bt since his bday is on a weekday with an exam on english literature the next day, we decided on havin a party on friday.

Wow Chitra tai what a lavish spread. where do u find the time to prepare so many things & still look great.

We had been to the INS Vikrant musuem on wednesday. & did the kids enjoy (even i did). was more interestin after watchin the tintin movie last saturday. this musuem is on board the INS Vikrant which is open to public for only 2 weeks every year since 2001. its a decommissioned aircraft carrier.

myself n nilesh watched Tintin. gr8 movie. the kids who were in mumbai watched with their mama.

nilesh gets to eat home cooked food thanx to preeti's gas cylinder. the maid is a little version of hitler. when nilesh talked of eatin yday's leftover daal, she made fresh daal n asked him to throw the old daal away.

can anyone help. i tried creatin my own a/c (r8 now usin nilesh's login), bt i cant write a new post.

Diwali

Diwali is around the corner. & Diwali faral is in the making. The kids r esp excited.

Nilesh will be back tonite after a hectic 2 day trip to Buldhana. In fact he has clubbed a visit to Shegaon n Grushneshwar to his official trip. n then a week long holiday (much awaited by us).

Will be nice to have u with us Chitra tai on 26th. Shivansh had wanted to talk to Raj, bt maybe next time. Do u have a skype id that we cud connect on? my id is sanni.lolayekar. i m prtty new to skype. any one else on skype

Thundering Pune

Its rainin & thunderin in Pune. The climate is wonderfully pleasant. In the mornins we need to use sunglasses to block out the sun & in the evenins need an umbrella to block the rains. what a wonderful climate.

We had a wonderful bday party for Sudhansh. Twice actually. Cause last weekend we had been to vasai. & there we had another bday party. & Sudhansh is the happiest with all the gifts he has recd. esp the guns that Vahini has given.
