we stayed at dharwad at a quaint lodge called "Hoysala Lodge". nilesh n the kids were singin away "hoy saala hoy saala".

  1. This reminds me of my last visit to Goa & Ankola in Dec 1993. Thats really long time. The pictures tells the story of your stay. Nice. I see the Chira bricks in one of the pictures (Shivansh with is "Mama" @ Kumtha). Wonder if they still use to build structures using those bricks. Those are huge. Regarding " hoy saala", we have a restuarant with the same name and we kind of say same whenever we go there.

  2. u guessed right. the manager was quite sceptical @ givin the suite to a family consistin of a couple with 2 kids n a senior citizen ;-)
    chira stones r used mainly for boundaries.

  3. Good to be back on the blog. Sorted out with my verification. Goa pictures are very beautiful.I visited nirkar temple last time i visited loliem but i think last time i visited kesavdeos temple was when i was a kid.
